This season, the Nubian Empire Ski Club is offering a Skier Development Program for our Youth. The program is open to youth ages 7 to 17 years of age. Through this program, youth will be introduced to the sport of skiing and snowboarding through participation in a series of lessons at a local ski areas (
To make the program affordable for families, the NESC will be subsidizing a portion of the total cost. To register for the program your youth must be a paid member. The cost of registration per child is $140 which covers the cost of four ski or snowboarding lessons without transportation. Each additional lesson will be $35 per child, payable in advance. Included in this price is a 1.5 hr group lesson, 4 hr lift ticket and equipment rental. A helmet is also recommended. If you do not wish to purchase a helmet, one can be rented from the Mountain at the additional cost of $10. The club also has several youth helmets that may be borrowed. Please contact Omoye Cooper to determine if we have your child's size. Adults may also take lessons; and in some cases, at a reduce or discounted rate (i.e. Beginner ski/snowboard lesson with rental equipment.....Only $25)
